Problem

As for this septic tank, thickened sludge had been pumped to a tanker truck for disposal 2-3 times a month. However, there had been longstanding concerns confronted by the end user. Their concerns were not only the high sludge disposal cost but also the odor which comes along with the presence of a tanker truck. They had looked for a suitable sludge dewatering unit for small-scale wastewater treatment plant, but could never find the right product to be fit in their limited installation space.

AMCON's Solution

Volute Dewatering Press ES-101, suitable for small-scale wastewater treatment system, was installed for sludge dewatering.
