Problem

This sewage treatment plant had always faced problems with the belt press which had been installed. The end-user had not only had problems with high cost for water consumption but also had maintenance issues arising out of frequently caused clogging problems. Moreover, since this plant mixes sludge cake with wood chips for composting, there had also been an issue concerning the dryness of sludge cake from belt press, causing their composting process to be inefficient.

AMCON's Solution

Now, Volute Dewatering Press ES-302 is installed for sludge dewatering whereas the belt press is kept as a stock for inevitable emergencies.
